Time
Over the past week, I've caught myself complaining about not having enough time. There are so many things I want to do, but I say I don't have time. I'm busy, that much is true. So, how do I make time to do the things that fulfill me? Cut out the things that are not beneficial or necessary.
I am focused on living a more intentional life. How much time am I wasting doing things that are not improving my life? Anything from worrying, ruminating, or doing things just because I should. To be honest, I'm tired. Tired of making myself busy doing things that are only draining me. I want to draw and read and think without feeling guilty and unproductive. I want to manage my time and feel content with what I have accomplished.
In 2018, I want to make realistic to do lists. I want to set expectations for myself that I can actually meet. I want to share responsibilities so I don't feel totally overwhelmed all the time. I want to trust myself and not think, rethink, overthink, and worry.
I am simplifying my life. I don't use most of the things I have, and they really just stress me out. So, I am going to get rid of the things I don't use.
At the end of the day, I also don't want to be frustrated with myself for wasting time. I want to commit to a better, simpler, more content way of living without judging myself for how I have lived up until now.
